Oh Dear Diary, Summer is here and I want to explore for distinctive foundations to cover my imperfections and I noticed a commercial on COVERGIRL Whipped Cream. I instantly went to my drug store and tried to match my tone. I publicize it was so easy especially because there was a variety of shades that seemed to catch anyone’s tone.
How does it feel On The Skin?
A tester was available to be honest I immediately smiled at the fineness of this foundation it attracted me. I have tried many and have fallen in love with many foundations. I really just needed something that is not heavy for my skin and doesn’t run through my face with my summer days. I was completely stunned on how it blended throughout my face. Truly, this foundation is one of the easiest to blend.
How much does it cover?
I have to say that I really saw a lot of coverage as soon as I applied it. I adore my concealer but with this foundation you don’t need a lot the coverage can be built up depending on your liking for me it just took one application. Doesn’t cake up when it’s built up. The best part is that it completely dries up like a matte base, and it makes your skin appear flawless. I applied it with my fingers because with the brushes it seemed to remove some of the foundation off.
Types of skin that Whipped Cream by COVERGIRL works for Dry/Oily or both?
I have a combo/oily skin and dry, I have to say that for my summer long hours with my boys I really enjoyed having a summer natural look and feeling fresh not caked on. I had to just retouch my chin and nose with my Blotting Papers from the Sephora Collection.
How Long Does it Stay on?
The foundation lasted on my skin for about 7 hours with a Mac FIX+ Finishing Mist. I also ran around after my little ones and it really stayed on long. My imperfections didn’t poke through which I was really pleased with.
My Dear Diary readers if you are like me your makeup melts off during the summer, so I can only go by my own experience and to be honest I was pleased. The pint-size pot is so tiny that it can be added to your purse or clutch if needed for occasions. Trust when I say it doesn’t hurt to buy it at your drugstore for $8. FYI to all my beauties and Mommiez that can’t really be around strong odors this foundation has no scent. Don’t forget to add your pop of color right now I’m loving my Mac Candy Yum Yum.
