“Latinista Fashion Week”

Oh Dear Diary, a two-day event created and produced by DEE & Co Group and sponsored by Latina Magazine and IMAN Cosmetics. Fashion week for Latinista was held on August 23rd and 24th at the Solo Space in NYC. I was honored to attend the two-day fashion week event for the Latinista Fashion Show SS14 collections. Sitting in the front row as a guest/press I felt privileged.  Goodie Bags Include Beauty Deluxe Products & More. I was joyful to have witnessed Cesar Galindo (CZAR) fashion show on August 23rd. Checkout my previous Diary entry to see his designs.  Cesar Galindo will be showcasing his designs at the Lincoln Center for fashion week. For the night the designers were Edwing D’Angelo, Cenia Paredes and Shantall Lacayo. The designers gathered together to present designs for Latin fashion week to be remembered.

IMAN cosmetics made an incredible mark with the makeup on the editorial models that walked the runway.  Nail Lounge was treating the guests with nail art. The “Latinista” Signature Drink By Semental Tequila was exquisite according to the invitees. In the red carpet I always feel delighted to meet wonderful people.  In this case my two precious Cutiez accompanied me. Kassadie Reyes my wonderful niece who is always ready to see a live runway because she wants to be a future model. My gorgeous son Jayden A. Perez was a little ill but still tried to enjoy the night for his mommy. Behind the scenes stood my biggest supporters my hubby Rogers Perez ( Photographer) and my sister Karla Ramos.

Edwing D’Angelo has been featured on the sensational move The Devil Wears Prada.  Edwing’s name has been plastered all over the media world.  With a Colombian background he showcased elegance and classy designs.   Cenia Paredes designs can be portrayed like a touch of summer with an evolution to the fall.  Cenia designed with bright colors and dark under tones that can be worn throughout the fall with a blazer. However with Cenia’s Dominican heritage she made me fall in love with her love for prints.  Shantall Lacayo a fabulous Nicaragua designer with a great love for eye-popping colors.  Fashion is finalized on a runway.  Dressing up is made for a Red Carpet. Remember your last stop always completes your night.

My diary reader’s fairytales are pasted down as stories.  Let life be a tale that can be manifested into greatness.  Let your dreams guide you to accomplishments. Don’t fear failure, rejoice in triumphs.
