Oh Dear Diary a show must always have a combination of celebrities and great fashion. The aroma in the room was fresh and the ensembles were terrific. We have to always remember that designs don’t emerge from the air. The events don’t plan themselves you need work for all of this to happen. An occasion full of life can only be master by the beautiful Butterfli Tia. The Fachion Bloc unlabelled Awards and Fashion Show was a hit in the Broad St. Ballroom in NYC.

The event went accordingly to what I considered a success. From the front row filled with award winners to onstage performances. The honorees are known for not only impacting the community with their great support by giving back, but mainly because of the positive message that is put out in the industry. The event was made to give recognition to artists that have accomplished their craft. These hard-working individuals have conquered there dreams. So Fachion Bloc made sure to honor them for their unrecognized work. I will say that being surrounded by so many dominant personalities allows you to work with your soul.

Fachion Bloc made sure that age was only a number at the NYC Ballroom from the youthful cuties to your grown full size beauties. The designers had your summertime looks from swimwear to the sexy season dresses. Performances came with the night by LA Soul, Banji Babez Missy Elliott’s girl group, and many more. Performances that deserved standing ovations. Age was not a factor in this event. Any age strode on the runways and presented themselves professionally as well as the performers.

The evening was full with incredible talent. As one of the presenters I can say that I was filled with exhilaration and passion to award some of the great individuals that were being honored I was the lucky girl to award Bobby Clarke for the most listened to Caribbean Station of 2012. Amazement came with how humble all the award winners were. The categories were from Stylist, Designers, DJ, and many more. The night also honored Metro New York’s “Make a Wish” Foundation by donating part of the event’s profits.
My Diary readers always remember that your dreams are not running away they are just waiting for you to believe in yourself to make them reality. Never think that it’s to late to dream always think that it’s never to late to conquer.
